1) Cooking Seasonally – Spring Cleansing! May 12

Springtime is near!  Are your thoughts turning towards cleansing? Did you know that springtime is the best time to rid your body of toxins and ‘winter build-up’?  In this class, learn:

  •  Why cleanse? And is cleansing right for me?
  • How to cleanse safely through food!
  • Which foods are cleansing, especially of the liver. Learn some tasty recipes to include in your personalized cleansing program!

2) Making it last: Drying Foods May 13

(dairy-free, egg-free, veggie, hands-on, wheat-free)

Essential for food security, drying solves storage problems in the fridge and takes up less space in the pantry than canning. Not to mention that unlike canning, we can preserve these foods without added sugar or vinegar. Quick and healthy snacks, cooking with dried food and more!

3) The Missing Food Group: Alkalizing Seaweeds May 19

(dairy-free, egg-free, veggie, hands-on, wheat-free)

Seaweeds of many varieties are powerhouses of nutrition. This class will have you wondering why seaweed is not used more often! To learn more about the benefits of seaweeds here!

This class is a four-course tasting and hands-on experience of different seaweeds, and an ocean of information about the different types, health properties and applications!

4) Digestible dairy-intro to CHEESE! May 20

(egg-free, veggie, wheat-free)

In this fun and informative class, you learn how to make veggie-friendly farmer’s cheese ( no rennet) using dairy kefir grains, also Ayurvedic everyday wonder-food, ghee.

Learn about the best sources of dairy available, and how to prepare dairy for best digestion.

Classes are non-transferable to other cooking classes. More that one participant may take advantage, so give a class to a friend!
